A male southern elephant seals appears to chuckle in the wave wash at Gold Harbour, South Georgia, Antarctic PeninsulaTelegraph reader and regular pix of the day contributor Darren Moston writes: 'I went to Walton Gardens near Warrington as the weather was so lovely and decidded to visit the farm to see what animals were there. I'm glad I did, as one of the peacocks was doing his display for the ladies.' A confiscated male orangutan smuggled from Indonesia looks out of  a cage at Khao Pratupchang Wildlife Breeding Centre in Ratchaburi province, Thailand. The centre takes care of 11 orangutans, 72 tigers and more than 300 other animals which are rescued from traffickers.
